Artist statement

I first became interested in photography watching my father work in the photographic dark room and traipsing after him on family trips. My job was carrying the camera bag.

Photography soon became a way to intensify, relive and share experiences. I get the most pleasure out of taking common objects and pointing out what is special or different about them.

I have exhibited locally in Ulster County and in New York City. My work has been published in Adirondac, Appalachian Trailway News, and Jewish Monthly.
